Hello Beards and Bears,

Things you need to know about Fire Island Bear Weekend.

Registration and wristbands: You can exchange your Ticketleap tickets (Make sure you have the ticketleap tickets on your phone or printed.) at the Beers and Bears opening party at Cherry's on the bay starting at 8:30pm Thursday June 8th. If you are unable to attend this party you can do the exchange on Friday at the Bear Ass Tea Party located at the Belvedere Guest House at 4pm Friday June 9th.

Table reservations for the Fire Island Bear Contest: If you would like to sit at table which are the best seats for viewing the contest, you must make reservations by sending an email to info@cherrysonthebay.com. Don't wait as the reservatiomn quickly fill up.

Event schedule, questions and last minute changes: Be sure to check www.FireIslandBearWeekend.com for any last minute changes to venues or event times. If you have questions, you can click the chat button in the lower right hand corner of the website and someone will be happy to help you with any information you might need.

The Weather: Fire Island has its own uniqe and somewhat unpredictable weather. The forcast can predict rain and it will end up being sunny on the island and raining on the mainland. I recommend bringing a sweater or hoodie to keep warm in the evenings. For the sexy clothing optional parties you can wear nothing at all if its warm or feel free to come in a onsie if its chilly. Pretty much anything goes whats important is your comfort.

Friday's D World Underwear Party : Fridays DWorld Underwear Party at the ice palace is not included with your weekend passes and is not part of Fire Bear Weekend. However, it is a really fun party and underwear is required to enter. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Deer and other wild life: Leave them alone.... They will come for you!

Walking the MEAT RACK: I'm sure most of you know or have heard stories about what goes on in the meat rack and It's all true, D and A abound and so does poison Ivy but keep your witts about you. National Seashore park rangers patrol this area, and if you are found off the path doing the nasty you will get in some trouble.

HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE!!!!!!!

Thanks again for coming to our event and we hope you enjoy it.

Shane Tate and Danny J.
